Working as lecturer at University of Indonesia since ages. A mediocre one with slow career hops. Antrhopologist. I love to cook. Wife and kids are home. Home is when my bed is full of them.
Lack of discipline or restraint in writing frequently is my biggest problem so far. Wish I c0uld be a non-stop writer like many bloggers out there. Writing can never be that easy for me (sigh!). Maintaining focus in another problem. This blog still has no specific topics and I don’t know where I am heading to with my blog. What a blurry contents! Damn.
I have created new category: Rizoma. Here I wrote short notes about things that I hope stimulate people thoughts to act. Here is the analogy: If rhizomes are broken into pieces, each piece may be able to give rise to a new plant. I believe that small pieces of ideas can be powerful if you share it. Sowing seeds may have started revolutionary plants someday.
Science is historically dynamic and not easy to deliver. That’s why education can never be an easy job. Being brutally honest, I hate classrooms, I hate lecturing, though I would love to be a student again. Should I give up teaching? I don’t know. Maybe I should.

Behind its narrativity there lies a hell of geeky world. A good blog is built based on good codes. It has to be simple, lightweight, interactive, and google-friendly. This is the “beauty of the bauds” things. Good blog is like living organs. It interacts with readers, keep sending bytes of trackbacks to other blog partners, and friendly with many search engine robots. Then again rhizomes.
Financially speaking, its future is uncertain (you have a broke dumb admin who disbelieve in generates money from mouse-clicks). So, this blog can be shutdown anytime without prior notice. Once it’s done, I’ll be gone.

Hey, would love to hear from you. I’m on facebook if you want to contact me or via email of course. Would love to hear your news.

hi there, i congratulate you on having made your website.
you started it very beautifully, and i believe readers would like to read more of your mind.
just an advice from a friend:
A thinker when thinks, a flow of thoughts is created in his/her mind, where one thought leads to another. The same thing can be found in writing. A good essay has this flow, and a good blog also has this flow. The difference being, an essay is made by a man, whereas a blog is created by many people, and a good blog not only reflects that all its members are intellectual and all the members are on the same page of thoughts, it also reflects that flow that a reader wants.
Perhaps you need a new space to grow. Have you ever considered joining the National Geographic Society, and contribute for the Magazine?
…or you’d consider starting a magazine on your own. Putting your dream, vision, anxiety, in a print media. Gather a team with shared vision, materialize the abstract ideas. A magazine that print comment, critique, and suggestion of daily happenings. Umm, perhaps you know what i mean.
